In October 2002, Sharon went to the outskirts of Calgary and took a course in equine emergency medical care. Here, she is being instructed in the use of a stethoscope.

These two photos were taken at Whitehorse Creek equestrian campsite near Cadomin, Alberta. Above, Sharon is relaxing in what was surely a ‘heaven’ for her: motorhome, horse trailer, horses, dogs, and mountains of trees. At right, she and Heidegger are returning from a few moments of relaxation near the water. Below, Sharon is visiting Grande Prairie and relating stories of camping and horseback riding to her daughter, Daana. And, yes, she thoroughly enjoyed that t-shirt.

Sharon may have spent a lot of time in jeans and a t-shirt, but she liked to dress elegantly, when at home entertaining friends or out on the town for an evening. In this photo, she is at the home of her dear friends Karen and David Baine to help celebrate his birthday (2001).
